Scanning & Color Correction
We provide professional image capture services at affordable
rates. We can scan your paintings, drawings, photography and more!
At Gango Custom Printing,
our technicians use a state of the art, large format (48"x70"), flatbed scanner to capture your image at
the highest detail, quality and resolution, leaving you with the best digital
files available in wide format scanning.
Do you use metallics or watercolors? We can adjust the lighting angles on our scanner to help capture those qualities better than ever before! Is your art larger than 48"x70"? Don't worry, we can still scan it for you.
Accepted art formats for scanning include; paper, stretched and un-stretched canvas, wood, and several others. For questions about whether your material can be scanned, please contact us. If you need more advanced color correction or digital manipulation, please see below for additional graphics work.
In addition to the scan, we provide basic color correction to the material of your choice and one small printed proof.
We do our best to match your original artwork as closely as possible, however please be aware, there are some colors that fall out of the color gamut available in printing. Colors that are most affected are neon colors and very pure blues, greens, reds and oranges.
We scan all artwork up to 30"x40" at 600 dpi. All artwork larger than 30"x40" we scan at 300 dpi because the file sizes are incredibly large and hard for the average computer to open. If you prefer we scan above 300 dpi, please let us know.
Upon your approval, we will provide you with a high resolution TIFF and JPEG file of your artwork.
NOTE - TYPICAL SCANNING LEAD TIME IS 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS AND IS SUBJECT TO CURRENT WORKLOAD.
